NIGERIA AIRFREIGHT SUBSECTOR TO GETS BOOST WITH NEW COLLABORATION
Peacock Aviation and Turkish Airlines agrees lowest possible air freight rates on a wide range of general and special goods in Nigeria
Nigeria Airfreight subsector is set to have a boost after top firm agreed to work together. This firm which include Peacock Aviation and Allied Services Limited will partner with Turkish Airlines Cargo. The aim is to help deliver efficient and on-time cargo services.
The deal will help guarantee shippers in Nigeria the lowest possible air freight rates on a wide range of general and special goods on the airline’s vast global route network. It will also grow and extend the nation reach when it comes to cargo delivery.
Executive Chairman of Peacock Aviation, Aare Segun Phillips said ”This partnership was made in heaven specifically with our customers in mind. He also said we want to enhance their airfreight experience in a consistent and sustainable way.”
Meanwhile, the deal will see both Peacock Aviation and Turkish Airlines bring immense strategic values to the table. Peacock Aviation will bring its large customer base and a strong presence across Nigeria. While Turkish Airlines boasts a vast global route network, high technology equipment and a huge capacity to handle all cargos.
Turkish Airlines General Manager, Lagos, Yunus Ozbek said ”We have a longstanding relationship with Peacock, which is a very professional company. He said that’s very important for us because Turkish Airlines is the flag carrier of Turkish Republic.
According to Ozbek, We also have a lot of investors from all over the world. That gives us a lot of responsibilities.
