JOB DESCRIPTION

Project Manager reporting to GE Power GAS office Manager in Algeria, in charge of conducting power station installation projects in Algeria.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensuring resource availability and allocation
  • Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate tools
  • Measuring project performance
  • Managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders including job site Management
  • Performing risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
  • Track project performance, using appropriate tools and techniques, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Invoicing and tracking cash collection
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis. T
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Attending conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Engineer or Management Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Strong technical knowledge in Power Station installation and commissioning.
  • Proven working experience in project management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French, English and Arabic
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
