Colourful celebrations as Madagascar celebrates its 59th Independence Day Anniversary President Paul Kagame of Rwanda also joined President Andry Rajoelina of Madagascar in celebrating the 59th Independence Day Anniversary.  Since gaining independence from France on June 26th, 1960, Madagascar continues to flourish.
