Ntungamo—Kabale highway has been opened to the public after it was closed on may 4 2020. Uganda National Road Authority (UNRA) block the highway as emergency repair kicking off the next day. The Ntungamo-Kabale Highway has been closed after rain fell on it which resulted in the destruction of crops as well as other items around the area. These prompted Uganda National Road Authority (UNRA) to close the area. According to reports, the rain trigger mudslide that have blocked several roads.
