MALAWI PRESIDENT ATTENDS NSANJE-MARKA ROAD CEREMONY
President Mutharika at Nsanje-Marka road groundbreaking ceremony.
President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika was at the groundbreaking ceremony of Nsanje-Marka road. The project will help communities in both area have good road access.
Speaking during the ceremony, President Mutharika said he will fulfill former President Bingu Wa Mutharika’s vision. This will be through completion of the inland port.
According to the President, the DPP government has started developing the Lower Shire by constructing roads like the Bangula-Nsanje and Nsanje-Marka Roads among others.

President Mutharika said “Every community deserves better developments such as good roads. Let me also say that regardless of how long it will take, Nsanje inland port will be realized.
He further said that There were some technical challenges but I promise that in the next two years, the dream will be realized.
The project is massive for resident of the area as it will make transport of good and service more easy. The construction of the Nsanje-Marka road will take two years to complete.
