SA GOVT. CUT WESTERN CAPE TDRG AS PART OF IT’S BAILOUT TO SAA
South Africa government has shown that they are not prepared to make the tough choices needed for a real recovery, that would ensure jobs, safety and dignity in the nation.
This is after the Western Cape Title Deed Restoration Grant (TDRG) was cut by over R23 million as part of the R10,5 billion bailout to South Africa Airways (SAA).
The reduction in the budget now implies that at a cost of almost R4,000 per Title Deed, over 5,800 people would now not be assisted by the State and therefore not receive this life-changing and empowering document.
This latest development is surely a worry for citizen as currently speaking this is the final year where the TDRG will be allocated.
