REASONS WHY KENYA SHOULD SUPPORT THE DIGITALISATION OF THE LAND ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM – NLIMS
Farida Karoney, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Lands & Physical Planning has been holding series of stakeholder engagement ahead of the official launch of the National Land Information Management System (NLIMS).
The NLIMS is enabling a shift from the current paper-based system to a digital system of land administration and management. Thereby, enhancing partnerships with professional and investigative bodies, encourage information sharing, and build public trust and confidence in services offered by Government through the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning #ArdhiGoingDigital
According to Farida, the digitalisation project is receiving immense support from both internal and external stakeholders. This is a clear indication that Kenya is ready for a transition.
