Construction of new redemption hospital awaits notice from the government of Liberia
Construction of the new redemption hospital has enter phase two in Liberia. The project which has been ongoing will enter the phase two which will also include the elevation of the structure.
The building will provide health care services to almost half a million people in Western Liberia once it is finish.
West Construction Liberia, a construction company operating in Liberia won the contract to construct the new hospital. The company won the project as a strong contest during the bidding process.
The firm won due to good records and outstanding performance with the Government of Liberia especially during the Ebola outbreak.
Country Manager of West Construction Liberia, Abraham Bah Said “His team of engineers and complete workforce from the company are prepare to begin phase two.”
The project is waiting notice from the government of Liberia as a result of delay in the passage and subsequent signing of the 2017/2018 Fiscal Budget.
The nation health sector is a major challenge for the country. It has also seen the World Health Organization’s set up goal under the Millennium Development Goals in 2000. The goal is that all nation make at least 15% of their annual budget to support the health sector.
