THREE DAMS HAS BEEN IRRIGATED IN RWANDA WORTH US$20M
Three dams in Rwamagana District in Rwanda has been irrigated, following the rehabilitation that took over one year. The dam irrigation which is worth around US$20 million was funded by the Japanese Government. It is expected to have a rehabilitation of two storage dams of Cyimpima and Gashara, and construction of a new storage dam called Bugugu which is 23.7km long.
