KENYA’S DRUG COMPANY TO CONSTRUCT NEW FACILITY
Dawa limited plans new plant construction for the production and launch of its new drugs
Dawa Limited which is one of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturers of human and veterinary medicines in Kenya and East Africa has announce plans to build a US$ 30m drugs factory in Nairobi. The new plant is expected to enable the company to launch its new line of drugs into the country which are to help ease pain and suffering among diabetic, hypertensive and Cardio-vascular patients among other lifestyle ailments.
According to a report by the firm’s Managing Director, Dr Ajay Patel; ”The new plant will lead to the growth of the company and that the expansion will enable them to serve 10 markets in East and West Africa.”
Dawa product is well known and has a customers base cut across African countries like Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Zambia, Malawi and Ivory Coast as well as in other Central and Western Africans countries.
