This was disclosed by the NDDC Managing Director Nsima Ekere, during an inspection. He said the projects were aimed at improving the life of people in the Niger Delta region through quality infrastructure, as he assured them that the roads will be able to withstand  the region’s rough terrain while providing comfortable transportation to the lives of the residents.

Some of the projects had great impact on the resident as they linked Delta state to the Epe region of Lagos state.

The projects were initiated after residents demanded for alternative roots from Delta to Lagos state, since the available route was becoming inaccessible.

One of the Beneficiaries Mr. Obrik Miller Uloho, life chairman of the Ughelli council of chiefs commended NNDC for the projects and also urged them to construct other roads in other areas of Ughelli which are presently in unreachable condition.
