ZERA to issue 12 independent power producers (IPPs) license to operate in Zimbabwe Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) is set to license 12 independent power producers. This new plan will help the country’s power deficit gap to be slashed significantly. The aim is to increase the nation power producing firm which currently have stands at 30 IPPs.
