US CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SUPPORTS THE GROWTH OF DIGITAL ECONOMY IN AFRICA.

 US Chamber Commerce, Strathmore and Mircosoft supports the Digital Drivers program to be held in Kenya.

The United States Chamber of Commerce in association with Microsoft and Strathmore are set to host the Digital Drivers program. Therefore, this program will help grow Africa’s Digital Economy and will begin on the 27th of February 2018.

The program aims to provide a business friendly and innovative environment for Africa. Also, it will be attended by government officials, industry experts, educators, and innovators.

The event will be graced by the President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta,  Cabinet Secretary for Kenya’s Ministry of Information and Communication Joseph Mucheru.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses. They work closely with 117 American Chambers of Commerce abroad.

Microsoft Corporation is an American multinational technology company. It develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and services.

These organisations hope to  grow digital economy in Africa at a time when new technology is transforming businesses across Africa.
