PRESIDENT OF BOTSWANA IN DR CONGO TO STRENGTHEN BILATERAL COOPERATION
Dr. Mokgweetsi E.K Masisi (President of the Republic of Botswana), embarked on a working visit to Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. During the visit, he met His Excellency Félix Antoine Tshesekedi Tshilombo, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), to engage on issues of mutual interest, including exploring ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries, and advancing the region’s peace and security agenda. Botswana and DRC enjoy strong bonds of friendship and cooperation which are founded on shared values of mutual respect and a common vision for regional integration, peace and security in the SADC region.
