GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY FOR THE PROPOSED KANGARI MODERN MARKET IN KENYA
Kenya’s Cabinet secretary, Dr. Fred Okengo Matiang’i unveils the plaque at the ground breaking for the proposed Kangari Modern Market in Kangari ward, Kigumo Constituency, Murang’a County. This is among the many development projects being undertaken by Government to boost the economy in the region and offer quality and faster services to the people.
The modern market will be on a 1¾ acre plot which is strategically located within the town centre. The market is in line with the President’s Big Four Agenda pillars of food security and job creation within the region.
Benefits of the market include –
i. Safe & clean environment for trading environment for the traders
ii. Arranging trading activities in an organized and compatible manner
iii. Offer a wide variety of services under one building (one stop shop).
