Tain District looking for more support to develop the district after completion of classroom blocks in Ghana
Tain district chief has unveil two six-unit classroom blocks in Ghana. This classroom is for Soronoase/Kwaedenden and Nkrankrom communities in the District.
Meanwhile, the two six-unit classrooms have a library, stores, office, solar lighting system, and borehole. It also have a 10-seater micro flush toilet facility.
The project was from the Rotary Club International funding. Other bodies such as Sunyani Central and East Rotary Clubs respectively are also looking to emulate this feat.
Tain District Chief Executive, Charity Akua Foriwaa Dwommoh said “Though government is determine to develop the country, it would need their support since it cannot do everything alone.”
She also requested that non-governmental organisations and philanthropist assist the government in putting up such facilities to enhance the development of the district.
In her speech, she thanked the Rotary Club International for the project and for their numerous support to the district. She said the district will partner with any individual or groups who will support in developing the district.
