Konza Technopolis construction taking serious shape in Kenya
The construction of the Konza Technopolis is gradually taking shape as road and other drainage facilities are been laid. The announcement was made via Official Twitter handle for the President’s Delivery Unit in Kenya.
According to the tweet, the project will be a world-class center for ICT research and innovations. It will also create many direct and indirect jobs for resident and citizens in the country.

Konza is part of the government’s ambitious Vision 2030 initiative to improve much-neglected infrastructure over the next 18 years. The project is worth US$14.5bn (£9.1bn) is to build a new city intended to be an IT business hub and dubbed “Africa’s Silicon Savannah”.
