The construction of 44km Pallisa-Kamonkoli road is currently at 45.3% completed according to the latest update from Uganda National Road Authority (UNRA). The long awaited construction of Busega-Mpigi expressway has finally kick-off much to the delight of Mpigi Town Council. The renovation of Soroti hospital is now on hold after engineers condemned the structure, saying it is old and dilapidated, and that the wall was too weak. Uganda plans to invest US$205 million to restore railway linking Kampala to Malaba. Uganda government is making plans to restore its old railways. The plans is to invest US$205 million (about Shs 768 billion) in the railway that will link Kampala to Malaba.
