CONTRACTOR HANDOVER COMPLETED ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING IN GHANA
The Accra Academy Senior High School has gotten a new administration block after the contractor hands over the building.
The project which was funded by the government was at a construction cost of US$188k (GH¢1,089,564) with Masuab Consult as contractor.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, Senior Architect for Masuab Consult, Mrs Phillis Leckson-Leckey said the facility was originally planned to be a three storey building but due to land constraints it was redesigns to a two storey building.
She also noted that the facility should have been completed over three years ago but had technical and financial problems which hinder the project as payment was delayed.
The facility comprised a library, Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) and an Administrative block.
