Kenya Airlines ranked number one in Africa
Kenyan airlines have just been awarded Africa’s leading airline award again
At the just concluded World travel awards held at an Africa Gala Ceremony in Kigali, Rwanda, the national carrier for Kenya, Kenya Airways was lauded as Africa’s leading airline. The flyer who is experiencing a U-turn after years of losses was awarded and announced as Africa’s leading Airline under the ‘Business Class’ category.
The airline in a statement after winning the award said “We are very humbled to win Africa’s Leading Airline-Business Class.”
Other flyers nominated for the the same award category include EgyptAir, Ethiopian Airlines, Royal Air, Maroc, RwandAir and South African Airways.
Kenya Airways commonly known by its flight code, KQ, has held the Business Class title for five years running and the Leading Airline Award for two years in a row.
KQ was also nominated for the following awards; World’s Leading Airline, World’s Leading Airline to the Indian Ocean, Africa’s Leading Airline – Economy Class and Africa’s Leading Airline Brand 2017.
