QATAR AIRWAYS LAUNCHED FLIGHT TO SOMALIA
Qatar Airways make first flight to Mogadishu with 115 passengers on board.
Qatar Airways has launched a flight to Somalia. The flight will enable Somalia recover from the stalemate caused by years of devastating violence and wars. It will also contribute to rebuilding the country.
The flight also offers foreigners the opportunity to travel to Mogadishu in order to reach them. Meanwhile, the first flight took off from Doha and arrived Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport just before 3 pm. It was carrying 115 passengers.
In March this year, CEO of Qatar Airways, Akbar Al Baker announce that the Doha-Mogadishu flight will boost trade with Somalia and also caters for the demand of the route.
