Nigeria to rehabilitate Lagos 3rd Mainland bridge. The Federal Executive Council (FEC) of Nigeria have given approval for the rehabilitation of the 3rd Mainland Bridge in Lagos. The repair works on the bridge is worth about US$52.6m. The council gave the approval at an FEC meeting presided by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. Federal Government needs US$40 billion to complete Lagos-Ibadan rail project. Nigerian Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, said the Federal Government will be needing US $40bn to finance the ongoing Lagos-Ibadan railway project. Nigerian energy company Shoreline has signed a US$300 million agreement with Shell to develop, buy,market, distribute and sell gas in the commercial capital, Lagos.
