DOUALA COUNCIL TO REALISE ITS PROJECT AMBITION IN 2021
Councillors of the Douala II council in Cameroon is making plans to realise its project goals that was disrupted by the Covid19 pandemic outbreak.
During a midterm evaluation and budgetary council session that took place in the council, councillors regretted that the council was unable to realize most of its project as a result of the Covid19.
Mayor of the Douala II council Denise Fampou while Presenting a balance sheet of activities for the given period, said despite the global pandemic they were able to achieve some of their goals.
She noted that the council offered didactic materials to schools within the municipality, constructed and rehabilitated classrooms and schools.
However, she was optimistic that 2021 will be a year of greater realization as well as appreciating the councilors who were steadfast despite the odds.
