Ghana VP unveils military sport complex plans
Construction of Tamale military sport complex is in motion after the SOD cutting ceremony by Ghana Vice President. During the occasion, Ghana Vice President said similar sports complexes would be constructed in all garrisons across the country.
The aim of the project is in line with government plans to help the military. It will also transform the security services into world class security institutions.
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia said ”It was government’s intention to provide the various security agencies with modern tools and infrastructure to enable them to be on top of their duties at all times.”

The construction will cost US$2.9million and will be completed in 13 months. Meanwhile, the nation policy direction has seen them execute more projects. Such project like the Barracks Regeneration Project, Phase One which is 90% complete.
