HOW DABAA NUCLEAR PLANT PROJECT WILL BENEFIT RUSSIA AND EGYPT

Russian President Vladimir Putin extended a warm welcome to all participants in the celebratory event marking the pouring of concrete for Unit 4’s electricity base at the Dabaa Nuclear Plant.

During the concrete pouring ceremony at the Dabaa Atomic Energy Plant, President Putin addressed the attendees through a video conference. He described the event as a significant milestone in the construction of the nuclear facility in Egypt, emphasizing its importance as one of the most crucial joint projects between the two countries.

Putin stressed that its completion would contribute to boosting Egypt’s economy, energy sector, and the development of new industries, adding, “We are pleased to offer this plant, which will contribute to Egypt’s progress.”

Putin also acknowledged the historical ties between the two nations, stating, “Soviet experts played a significant role in Egypt’s economic and defense development. They initiated advanced projects in Egypt, such as the High Dam, and established many companies that continue to benefit the Egyptian people to this day.”
