AFRICA’s LARGEST METRO STATION
Egypt’s National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) has launched Africa’s largest metro station in Cairo. The middle East’s largest metro station Heliopolis station was constructed to better facilitate Egypt’s fastest means of transportation. The Egyptian Transportation Minister Kamel al-Wazir during the launching ceremony said the facility was built on 10,000 square meters and cost about US $116.8 million.
