The inauguration of Namibia’s first plastic recycling plant marks a significant milestone in the country’s efforts to combat plastic pollution and promote sustainable development. Minister Pohamba Shifeta announced that the plant will process approximately 500 tonnes of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) per month.
