TWO MULTI-STOREY HOSTELS TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN KENYA
Qwetu hostels set to create an environment for student to feel safe, calm and at home in Kenya.
The construction of a premium hostel that will cater for university and college student has kick-off in Kenya. According to the report, The project is a joint partnership between Qwetu and local investors. Meanwhile the partnership has raised over US $8m towards the mega project.
The project will comprise of two hostels with the first set to be accommodate up to 500 students. Furthermore, the first hostel will have nine-floor building on Jogoo Road in Nairobi. The second hostel will be located on Outer Ring Road, a kilometre from Thika highway. the hostel will have a good proximity because of several tertiary institutions and universities along Thika Road.
When the project is complete, it will give student who school around Thika Road decent furnished studio apartments. It will also help them connect to unlimited Internet, improving the learning experience.
The building will have a cooking facilities and own bathroom-cum-washroom, access to a gym, recreational area as well as a cinema room. It will also have an open study area where students can hold their private learning or discussions.
The facility dubbed ”Qwetu” will help students to live and work, which ensure students feel safe, calm and at home.
