BOTSWANA WITNESS FIRST LOAD SHEDDING AFTER SEVEN YEARS ABSENCE

Load shedding has returned after a seven-year absence as most parts of the country have been suffering from power cuts since last evening. Following the blackouts, the Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) announced that it is currently experiencing power supply constraints estimated to last for a week.
